Inventory, Invoicing & E-Commerce
Available stock, invoiced stock and physical stock are the same figure.
Stock availability, invoicing and channel listings describe one underlying position from three perspectives. Maintained in separate systems they diverge, and the divergence is generally discovered at stock count, or by a customer.
“Why is the 20-litre unit showing as out of stock online?”
ONESUITE
Sixty units are held at the Bhiwandi warehouse against a goods receipt that was never confirmed. The receipt has been matched to the purchase order; on confirmation the listing updates within approximately ten minutes.

Movement history
What it covers
- Stock by location, batch and age, with every order received across counter, website and marketplace
- Invoices linked to the originating order, the stock movement and the payment
- Returns, damages and write-offs recorded against the point at which they occurred
- Reorder quantity, timing and preferred vendor, based on current movement rather than historical averages
- Listings that are unprofitable once platform fees and returns are accounted for
- The points in the chain at which shrinkage is occurring
- Places replenishment orders within defined limits and prepares the remainder for approval
- Raises the invoice, records despatch and updates channel listings as a single event
- Pursues payment on delivered orders
